МЕДІАЛІНГВІСТИЧНИЙ РЕСУРС ЛЕКСИЧНИХ ЗАПОЗИЧЕНЬ У ПОДКАСТАХ

Abstract

Статтю присвячено дослідженню лексичних запозичень в медіалінгвістичному аспекті. Актуальність дослідження визначається тим, що медійні тексти, зокрема подкасти, є сьогодні однією з найпоширеніших форм використання мови. У статті подкасти визначаються як соціальні сервіси, що дають змогу користувачам створювати та поширювати аудіо- та відеопрограми в Інтернеті. Вивчення ролі подкастів у динаміці мовних процесів передбачає аналіз медіалінгвістичних механізмів взаємодії мов шляхом запозичення лексичних одиниць, тому мета статті полягає у дослідженні лексичних запозичень в англомовних подкастах та аналізу сфери їх проникнення в англійську мову. Перетворившись на одну з основних сфер мовленнєвого використання, сьогодні подкасти певною мірою визначають характер і властивості сучасного стану мови. Відображення цих процесів виявлено, зокрема, у використанні запозичень із найрізноманітніших мов. На думку авторів статті, головним інструментом взаємопроникнення мов є використання лексичних запозичень у мовленні. У статті наведено приклади запозичень, що вживаються в подкастах різноманітної тематики (наука, технічний прогрес, побут, гастрономія тощо). Автори статті встановили, що запозичення в англійській мові представлені лексичними одиницями, які є засобом спілкування та взаєморозуміння фахівців у багатьох галузях, і забезпечують їх входження у глобальний контекст. Цікавим із лінгвістичного погляду є той факт, що частина запозичень є повними, тобто зберегли фонетичну й орфографічну оболонку слова. При цьому такі запозичення можуть як мати аналог в англійській мові, так і не мати його. Крім того, невелику частину запозичень становлять слова-кальки. Загальний висновок полягає в тому, що вживання запозичень в англійській мові є невід'ємною характеристикою сучасного мовного процесу, однак він не впливає на розвиток стильових особливостей англійської мови та мовленнєву культуру.The article is devoted to the study of lexical borrowings in the media linguistic aspect. The relevance of the study is determined by the fact that media texts, in particular podcasts, are one of the most common forms of language use today. The article defines podcasts as social services that allow users to create and distribute audio and video programs on the Internet. The study of the role of podcasts in the dynamics of language processes involves the analysis of medialinguistic mechanisms of language interaction through the borrowing of lexical units, so the purpose of the article is to study lexical borrowings in English podcasts and analyze the scope of their penetration into the English language. Having become one of the main spheres of language use, podcasts today to some extent determine the nature and properties of the current state of the language. These processes are reflected, in particular, in the use of borrowings from various languages. According to the authors of the article, the main instrument of language interpenetration is the use of lexical borrowings in speech. The article provides examples of borrowings used in podcasts on various topics (science, technological progress, everyday life, gastronomy, etc.). The authors of the article have established that borrowings in English are represented by lexical units that are a means of communication and mutual understanding of specialists in many fields and ensure their entry into the global context. Interesting from a linguistic point of view is the fact that some of the borrowings are complete, i.e., they have retained the phonetic and spelling of the word. At the same time, such borrowings may or may not have an analog in English. In addition, a small part of the borrowings is made up of word-copies. The general conclusion is that the use of borrowings in English is an integral characteristic of the modern language process, but it does not affect the development of stylistic features of the English language and speech culture.
