Abstract
У тезах розглядається значення теоретичної підготовки у навчально-тренувальному процесі плавців віком 8-10 років. Визначено основні напрями формування теоретичних знань з урахуванням вікових особливостей дітей. Обґрунтовано доцільність поєднання теоретичного матеріалу з практичними заняттями у воді.
The article examines the importance of theoretical training in the educational and training process of swimmers aged 8-10 years. The main directions of forming theoretical knowledge considering the age characteristics of children are identified. The expediency of combining theoretical material with practical water training is substantiated.
