Abstract
Розглянуто проблему розвитку творчих здібностей учнів у процесі вивчення географії. Розкрито і порівняно сутність понять: творчі здібності, творчість, творче мислення. Значну увагу звернено на вивчення проблеми у практиці навчання географії в середній школі. Узагальнено результати експериментальних досліджень. Розроблено методичні рекомендації щодо форм і методів навчання які забезпечують розвиток творчих здібностей школярів на уроках географії. Особливу увагу звернено на використання активних методів навчання ,які сприяють формуванню в учнів умінь і навичок творчої роботи. Наводяться конкретні приклади розв’язування географічних задач, практичних завдань проблемного характеру та фрагментів ділових ігор які забезпечують творчу діяльність учнів. У подальших дослідженнях більше уваги необхідно звернути на використання на уроках географії форм і методів інтерактивного навчання з метою розкриття творчого потенціалу школярів.
The problem of development of students' creative abilities in the process of studying geography is considered. The essence of concepts is discovered and improved: creative abilities, creativity, creative thinking. Much attention is paid Study of the problem in the practice of teaching geography in high school. The results of experimental research are generalized. Their purpose was to find out the teachers' understanding of the concept of creative abilities of students, to identify the creative potential of teachers of geography, the ability of students to independently perform tasks at different levels of complexity, to approach creatively solving problem problems, to establish typical difficulties in the process of performing independent works of creative nature. Methodical recommendations on the forms and methods of teaching that provide the development of students' creative abilities at the lessons of geography are developed. Particular attention is paid to the use of active teaching methods that contribute to the formation of skills and abilities of creative work in students, in particular, "brainstorming", analysis of a particular situation, elements of problem learning, business games, workshops, etc. Specific examples of solving geographic tasks, practical problems of problem character and fragments of business games that provide creative activity of students are given. In further research, more attention should be paid to the use in the process of studying the geography of forms and methods of interactive learning in order to reveal the creative potential of schoolchildren, the quality of training future geography teachers and retraining of teaching staff to work with a new contingent of students.
