Abstract

У статті розглянуто засоби графічної виразності у створенні художнього образу орнаменту. Орнамент є однією з найдавніших і стабільних форм мистецтва, що виникла тисячі років тому і досі залишається невід’ємною частиною людського життя. На всіх етапах розвитку орнамент відігравав важливу роль у культурі. Канонічна структура орнаментальних побудов лежить в основі будь-якого сучасного візерунку. Повторюючись у тисячах композицій, ця структура несе в собі закони мистецтва, перевірені часом і розумом.The article examines the means of graphic expressiveness in creating an artistic image of an ornament. Ornament is one of the oldest and most stable forms of art, which originated thousands of years ago and still remains an integral part of human life. At all stages of development, ornament played an important role in culture. The canonical structure of ornamental constructions is the basis of any modern pattern. Repeated in thousands of compositions, this structure carries the laws of art, tested by time and reason.
