Abstract
У статті розглянуто проект як групову форму роботи учнів демократичних шкіл. Демократичні школи відкривають можливості до інновацій в організації навчально-виховного процесу на шляху ефективної соціалізації учнів. Проект – це групова форма роботи, яка спонукає учнів спрямувати зусилля на пошук, систематизацію та узагальнення матеріалу що вивчається. Як правило, проект містить тему та термін роботи над підготовкою, обговоренням і остаточним оформленням матеріалу. Виконання проекту – це багаторівневий процес, який включає: дискусії щодо актуальності проектного матеріалу, окреслення обсягу матеріалу, що пропонується до опрацювання, ухвалення списку літератури, алгоритм виконання затверджених завдань, оформлення результатів та їхня презентація.
The article represents democratic schools as progressive educational establishments operating in many countries worldwide, as a reliable alternative to traditional public secondary education schools. The basic characteristics of democratic schools include flexible educational plans, combination of lessons, handcrafts, creative labs, both indoor and outdoor activities aimed on positive socialization, democratic school-governance based on the voting system offering equal rights to all participants of the educational process (students, parents and teachers), focus on students’ personal responsibility for own academic results, practical skills and habits. Students’ projects are an important part of the educational plan in democratic schools. As a rule, there are personal, group and team projects implemented in the standard annual educational plan. The article covers team project as a part of educational process in democratic schools. These educational establishments open wide opportunities in replenishment of the innovative educational contents aimed on positive socialization of students. The group projects described in this article include academic research projects, conferences, theater performances, hiking. Group projects in democratic schools induce students direct their efforts on scientific research, survey and analysis of educational materials, develop creative skills, and help them better co-work with each other. As a rule, a project contains explanation of topic choice, submission deadlines, frames of contents’ discussion and its presentation. Completion of a project is a multilevel process which comprises discussion of its relevance and importance, amount of contents to be surveyed, approval of bibliography sources, fulfillment algorithm, and presentation of results.
