Techniques and Strategies of Critical Thinking Development in the Process of ESL Teaching

Abstract

This paper summarises a study focusing on the techniques and strategies of critical thinking development in the process of ESL teaching. In doing so, it aims to contribute to an important area of research regarding teaching English using new modern approaches. The results of this study successfully reveal that students can acquire critical thinking skills with the help of certain techniques and strategies and use the skills later in life to achieve considerable success in whatever they are doing.Стаття підсумовує дослідження, зосереджене на прийомах та методах розвитку критичного мислення в процесі викладання англійської мови, що є важливою темою досліджень викладання англійської мови за допомогою нових сучасних підходів. В результаті було виявлено, що студенти можуть набути навичок критичного мислення за допомогою певних прийомів та методів і використовувати ці вміння у подальшому житті для досягнення успіху у своїй діяльності.
