Abstract
The current state and developmental trends of constructive-geographic and constructivelandscape studies in Ukraine are analyzed. The urgent necessity of returning to the fundamental origins of the «construct» concept is substantiated, enabling a transition from passive description to active landscape design and modeling. A systemic analysis of the activities of leading national scientific schools is conducted. The fundamental role of the Kyiv school in establishing the theoretical and methodological basis of applied geography, as well as in developing concepts for landscape-ecological analysis and regional landscape planning for rational environmental management, is noted. The achievements of the Vinnytsia school in the field of anthropogenic landscape genesis are highly valued. The contributions of the Volyn and Lviv schools to the development of theoretical principles regarding the internal constructive essence of the landscape are characterized. The specifics of innovative developments in the field of sacred landscape science, which allow for the integration of spiritual and cultural values into the process of spatial planning, are highlighted. The role of GIS technologies as an essential tool for the objective monitoring of landscape transformations is emphasized. Furthermore, the applied achievements of the Ternopil and other regional centers in the context of optimizing basin structures and recreational environmental management are outlined. The problem of institutional fragmentation in research is identified, and the need for enhanced coordination between regional scientific hubs is argued. The creation of a state-wide coordination council for the unification of scientific tools and the certification of highly qualified personnel is proposed. It is summarized that the constructive approach is of strategic importance for the formation of scientifically grounded projects for the post-war restoration of landscapes, which is a prerequisite for national security and the sustainable development of Ukraine.
