Abstract

Стаття присвячена аналізу важливого історичного періоду розвитку Верхнього Надросся, як своєрідного форпосту між осілим населенням Київської й Подільської земель та Диким Полем другої половини XVІ ‒ середини XVІІ ст. Увага акцентується на шляхових записках посла Еріха Лясоти та карті України Гійома Левассера де Боплана, які є цінною інформацією про економічні, політичні й військові аспекти регіону та дозволяють реконструювати топонімічну палітру (населені пункти, водні об'єкти, укріплення в містах чи замках) пізньосередньовічного Верхнього НадроссяThe article is devoted to the analysis of an important historical period in the development of Upper Nadross, as a kind of outpost between the settled population of the Kyiv and Podolia lands and the Wild Field of the second half of the 16th ‒ mid-17th centuries. Attention is focused on the travel notes of Ambassador Erich Lasota and the map of Ukraine by Guillaume Levasseur de Beauplan, which are valuable information about the economic, political and military aspects of the region and allow us to reconstruct the toponymic palette (settlements, water bodies, fortifications in cities or castles) of the late medieval Upper Nadross.
