Influence of the Amount of Students’ Motor Activity on their Health Status and Psychophysical Readiness for Future Life

Aim: To investigate the impact of the amount of students’ motor activity on their health status and psychophysical readiness for future life. Materials and Methods: The research was conducted in 2019-2021. The study involved 420 students and 232 graduates of different years. 57 male students took part in the experiment aimed at studying the impact of the amount of motor activity on the health of students and their psychophysical readiness: 28 students were included to the experimental group, 29 students – to the control group. Research methods: theoretical analysis, questionnaires,testing, pedagogical experiment, statistical methods. Results: It was revealed that an increase in the amount of practical (academic and extracurricular) classes to 12-14 hours per week for one year positively affected the state of health of students and their psychophysical readiness for life. In EG, in contrast to CG, the results of most fitness tests significantly improved. The number of students with a high level of health in EG increased by 28.6%, and in CG – by 3.4%. The number of EG students with low level of neuropsychiatric stability decreased by 32.2%, and in CG – by 6.6%. Conclusions: Increasing the level of motor activity of students requires creation of a modern system of physical education of students, which should take into account their interests, motives and personality-oriented choice of the type classes. Classes should be organized in accordance with the level of physical fitness and health status of students.

Motivational and value-based attitude of law enforcement officers to motor activity as a factor of a healthy lifestyle

Aim: To study the attitude of law enforcement officers to motor activity and investigate its impact on their health. Materials and Methods: The research, which was conducted in 2022-2024, involved 163 law enforcement officers under the age of 30. Research methods: bibliosemantic, questionnaire, testing, medical and biological methods, methods of mathematical statistics. Results: It has been found that the vast majority of law enforcement officers (85.3 %) understand the importance of motor activity as a factor of a healthy lifestyle, its impact on physical and mental health, and quality of their professional activities. At the same time, only 27.6 % of law enforcement officers systematically engage in motor activity, 52.8 % do it sporadically, and 25.8 % do not engage in it at all. Among the reasons that prevent them from exercising are lack of time (65.6 %), lack of desire (31.3 %), and fatigue after a service day (28.1 %). It has been found that law enforcement officers who systematically engage in motor activity have a significantly better level of health (7.31 points) compared to those who engage in occasional motor activity (5.07 points) and do not engage at all (2.19 points). Conclusions: The positive impact of motor activity on the level of health of law enforcement officers has been proved. Good health is a guarantee of high resistance of law enforcement officers to negative factors of professional activities, professional longevity, and quality of their professional tasks.

Деякі аспекти формування іншомовної комунікативної компетентності майбутніх військових перекладачів

У статті досліджено деякі аспекти формування іншомовної комунікативної компетентності майбутніх військових перекладачів. Доведено, що формування комунікативної компетентності майбутніх військових перекладачів у процесі фахової підготовки окреслює отримання низки спеціальних знань, умінь і навичок, професійного досвіду та якостей, норм поведінки. Зроблено висновок, що комунікативна компетентність майбутнього військового перекладача – це інтегративне особистісне утворення, що розглядається як результат сформованості професійних компетенцій і особистісних якостей майбутнього військового-перекладача, які дозволяють установлювати психологічний контакт із оточуючими.
