Сучасний стан, природні та соціально-економічні чинники розвитку м'ясної промисловості Житомирської області

Abstract

У статті на основі аналізу статистичних даних дається оцінка сучасного стану тваринництва Житомирської області, як сировинної бази для розвитку мʼясної промисловості. Зʼясовуються проблеми функціонування його окремих галузей - свинарства, скотарства, птахівництва за минулі роки, які потребують нагального вирішення, зокрема: падіння чисельності поголівʼя худоби; низькі показники відтворення та мʼясних якостей тварин; низька рентабельність вирощування худоби та птиці; недостатній рівень державної підтримки дрібних та середніх фермерських господарств, які спеціалізуються на розведенні ВРХ, свиней і птиці тощо. Розглядається структура та динаміка виробництва мʼяса провідними підприємствами регіону, а саме ТОВ «Житомирський мʼясокомбінат» та ТОВ «Інкофуд-Бердичів». Виокремлено загальні проблеми мʼясної промисловості області. Обгрунтовані природні та соціально-економічні чинники, які обумовлюють розвиток і територіальну організацію мʼясопереробної галузі Житомирської області.

In the article on the basis of analysis of statistical data, an estimation of the current state of livestock in the Zhytomyr region, as a raw material base for the development of meat industry. The problems of functioning of its separate branches - pig breeding, cattle breeding, poultry farming for the past years, which require urgent resolution, are found out, in particular: the drop in the number of livestock; low reproduction and meat qualities of animals; low profitability of livestock and poultry farming; insufficient level of state support for small and medium farms specializing in cattle breeding, pigs and poultry, etc. The structure and dynamics of meat production by leading enterprises of the region are considered, namely "Zhytomyr Meat Processing Plant" Ltd and "Inkofud-Berdychiv" Ltd. The general problems of the meat industry of the region are highlighted: insufficient amount of raw materials for the continuous production activity; decrease in sales of meat and meat products in the domestic market, as a result of rising prices and falling purchasing power of the population; insecurity of norms of international standards, which makes it impossible to export meat products to the external market. The natural and socio-economic factors that determine the development and territorial organization of the meat processing industry of Zhytomyr region are grounded: labor and water resources, consumer potential, transport and geographic location and infrastructure.
