Про необхідність підвищення освітнього статусу випускової кафедри

Abstract

У статті проаналізовано проблеми, пов’язані із освітньою діяльністю випускової кафедри університету як базової його організаційної структури, яка є юридично відповідальною за підготовку фахівців. Нові реалії вищої освіти зумовлюють необхідність підвищення освітнього статусу випускової кафедри. У статті розглянуто функції випускової кафедри щодо розробки державних стандартів – освітніх програм та інших напрямків освітньої діяльності, виявлено відповідні проблеми та труднощі. Подано практичні рекомендації, які дозволяють досягнути освітньої мети.

The article analyzes the problems associated with the educational activities of the graduating department of the university as its basic organizational structure which is legally responsible for training. New realities of higher education necessitate the increase of the educational status of the graduating department. The article considers the legislative functions of the graduating department for the development of state standards of educational programs and other areas of educational activities, identifies relevant problems and difficulties. Practical recommendations are provided that allow to achieve the educational goal. The author substantiates the position that the development of an educational program allows to form an educational model (bachelor, master), which in general is nothing but the integration of competencies (general, professional). Thus, the function of modeling and forecasting in the provision of educational activities is realized. The main point of this model is to determine the competencies and those disciplines that provide them, so the development of an educational program is one of the main activities of the graduate department, which requires a creative and responsible approach. Equally important are the practical areas of work of the graduating department to develop curricula for quality control of teaching and ensuring close ties with students of higher education. The author's approach is implemented, in which it is proposed to provide higher education to the State Standard itself – the educational program, in particular, their mastery of those competencies that, in fact, form the model of the specialist. The student himself in the learning process will be able to monitor and determine the extent to which a teacher in a particular discipline can provide the appropriate competencies of specialist models. The author provides appropriate suggestions that can significantly improve the effectiveness of the educational process. All these and other aspects of the activity of the graduating department lead to a fundamentally different consideration of its main functions, thus justifying the need in general, to increase the educational status of the graduating department.
