Вікові особливості молодших школярів у контексті розвитку емоційного інтелекту

Abstract

У сучасному світі важливими стають вміння розуміти та керувати своїми емоціями, визначати і впливати на емоційний стан інших людей, посилюється роль емоційного інтелекту, як чинника успішної реалізації, досягнення успіху в усіх сферах життя. У статті подається сутність емоційного інтелекту та його зміст у теоріях зарубіжних психологів. Змістовими складовими визначено: сприйняття, ідентифікація, розуміння, керування власними емоціями та інших людей, адекватна поведінка відповідно до емоцій. Встановлено, що молодший шкільний вік є сенситивним періодом у розвитку емоційного інтелекту. Схарактеризовано вікові особливості розвитку емоційного інтелекту молодших школярів відповідно до змістових компонентів.

In today’s world, the ability to understand and manage your emotions, to indentify and influence other people’s emotional states, the role of emotional intelligence, as a factor of successful realization, of success in all spheres of life is increasing. The article deals with the essence and content of emotional intelligence in foreign psychology. The semantic components of emotional intelligence are defined: perception, identification, understanding, management of one’s own emotions and other people’s behavior according to emotions. It is established that the younger school age is a sensitive period in the development of emotional intelligence. The age characteristics of the development of emotional intelligence of primary school pupils in accordance with the content components are characterized. It is determined the primary school pupils better understand positive emotions than negative ones,identify them on expressive traits, focusing on facial expressions, but find it difficult to choose words to describe due to limited vocabulary. The ability to understand emotions develops, feeling and experiences become meaningful, generalized, the logic of feeling is formed. Children feel the emotional state of another person, may put themselves in the place of others, but may not always explain the causes of emotions in other people and the consequences. There is an expansion of social space, a system of interpersonal relationships in the classroom is formed, they become emotionally saturated, connected with the assessment and recognition as a person. Behaviors develop a sense of responsibility, empathy. The primary school pupils relationship characterized him as a socialized person. Primary school pupils characterized by a violent reaction to events, meaningfulness, directness and frankness in their expression of joy, sadness, fear, but gradually with the help of volition efforts they begin to learn to respond to unwanted emotional reactions more restrained to express irritation, image, envy. There is an important mental neoplasm-reflections, which provides the child’s ability to analyze and evaluate their own emotional experiences, promotes emotional self-awareness.
