Симетрія й асиметрія дорожніх ландшафтів

Abstract

Розглянуто проблему симетрії й асиметрії дорожніх ландшафтів та зумовлених ними процесів і явищ. Зазначено, що дослідження симетрії й асиметрії антропогенних, зокрема й дорожніх, ландшафтів лише розпочалися. Результати цих досліджень мають суттєве значення у зв’язку з корінною реконструкцією та будівництвом нових дорожніх ландшафтів в Україні. Приділено увагу поняттям «симетрія» й «асиметрія», їх використанню у процесі дослідження дорожніх ландшафтів, особливо якщо останні розглядати як своєрідні дорожні геокотони. Вияснено, що дорожні ландшафти переважно асиметричні, виділено та обґрунтовано три види асиметрії дорожніх ландшафтів: вітрову, орографічну й ландшафтну, які стимулюють розвиток притаманних для них несприятливих процесів. Врахування симетрії й асиметрії дорожніх ландшафтів та зумовлених ними процесів і явищ, переважно несприятливих, є важливою умовою проектування й будівництва сучасних дорожніх ландшафтів України.

The problem of symmetry and asymmetry in road landscapes and their processes and phenomena are considered. It is noted that studies of symmetry and asymmetry of anthropogenic, in particular, road, landscapes have just begun. The results of these studies are essential in connection with the radical reconstruction and construction of new road landscapes in Ukraine. Attention is paid to the notion of "symmetry" and "asymmetry", their use in the process of research of road landscapes, especially if the latter are regarded as original road geocotons. It was ascertained that the road landscapes are mainly asymmetric, and three types of asymmetry of road landscapes - wind, orographic and landscape - are highlighted and substantiated, which stimulate the development of unfavorable processes inherent to them. The wind asymmetry causes uneven distribution of snow, chemical elements, especially heavy metals, in air and soils, and so on. The orographic activates or promotes the development of undesirable geomorphological processes - erosion of slopes, formation of landslides, makes it difficult to create roadside forest strips, dispose of surface runoff and require additional costs for strengthening slopes. Landscape asymmetry is often conditioned by the overall ecological situation within the road geocotone, its aesthetic appeal and the duration of its operation. Taking into account the symmetry and asymmetry of road landscapes and their processes and phenomena, which are mostly unfavorable, is an important condition for the design and construction of modern road landscapes.
