Формування комунікативної компетентності здобувачів вищої освіти під час вивчення основ наукових досліджень

Abstract

Формування комунікативної компетентності здобувачів вищої освіти є важливим завданням сучасної вищої школи. Дисципліна «Основи наукових досліджень» має значний потенціал для розвитку навичок наукової комунікації за умови використання інноваційних методів і технологій навчання. Реалізація окреслених підходів сприятиме підготовці фахівців, здатних до ефективної професійної взаємодії, презентації результатів досліджень та участі у науковому дискурсі.

The article addresses the problem of developing the communicative competence of higher education students in the process of studying the course “Fundamentals of Scientific Research.” The relevance of the study is determined by the growing importance of communicative competence as an essential professional quality that enables effective interaction in academic and professional environments. Particular attention is paid to the development of scientific communication skills, including the ability to formulate ideas clearly, substantiate arguments, present research findings, participate in academic discussions, and observe the principles of academic ethics. The article substantiates the potential of the course “Fundamentals of Scientific Research” for the integrated development of cognitive, research, and communicative skills. Communicative competence in the context of scientific activity is considered as a multidimensional construct encompassing speech, discourse, sociocultural, and strategic components. The study identifies educational activities that contribute to its development, including academic writing, analysis of scientific sources, preparation and presentation of research projects, participation in debates and discussions, case-based tasks, teamwork, and collaborative research activities. Particular emphasis is placed on innovative teaching methods and digital technologies that enhance students’ opportunities for synchronous and asynchronous communication. Project-based and research-based learning, coaching and facilitation sessions, digital cases, modeling of professional situations, and participation in scientific groups and analytical teams are identified as effective pedagogical technologies. The conditions that ensure the effectiveness of communicative competence development are outlined, including the creation of a communication-rich educational environment, practical orientation of learning, systematic feedback, use of interactive methods, and integration of academic learning with research activities. The article concludes that purposeful integration of communicative and research-oriented tasks into the teaching of “Fundamentals of Scientific Research” contributes to the development of students’ ability to communicate effectively in academic and professional contexts, present research results convincingly, and participate actively in scientific discourse.
