Методика підготовки студентів економічних спеціальностей до предметної олімпіади з математики

Abstract

Статтю присвячено питанням організації та проведення предметної олімпіади з математики в економічному ЗВО, а також особливостям підготовки студентів-економістів до участі у Всеукраїнському етапі в сучасних умовах. Наведено досвід кафедри вищої математики та економіко-математичних методів Харківського національного економічного університету імені Семена Кузнеця щодо організації занять, розглянуто основні аспекти методики роботи зі студентами-олімпіадниками. Висвітлено цілі проведення олімпіади, засоби стимуляції студентів, основні проблеми, що виникають в процесі підготовки студентів, та ефективні засоби їхнього подолання. Доведено актуальність та перспективність участі в олімпіадному русі для студентів економічних спеціальностей, а також переваги роботи в цьому напрямі для викладачів.

The research is devoted to an actual problem of introducing of mathematical Olympiads into the educational process. The issues of organization and the features of preparation of students for participation in the mathematical Olympiad at the University of Economics are considered. Nowadays, our society needs not only skilled professionals, but also creative extraordinary personalities, capable of extraordinary steps, capable of a breakthrough in their field of activity. Therefore, the issues of identifying and developing talented students are relevant. Subject Olympiads are one of the effective methods for finding talented students. Mathematical Olympiads are usually considered in the context of engineering training, and the peculiarities of preparation and holding of the competitions in mathematics for students of economic sciences are ignored. In this article, we first identified the main goals of the subject Olympiad in mathematics. Next, we considered the main stages of the organization of the competition, in particular, ways of attracting participants, methods of evaluating the results and encouraging the winners using the rating system. Methodology of preparation for the All-Ukrainian stage are presented. The problems associated with the specific mathematical training of future economists and effective ways to overcome them are highlighted. Trends and development prospects are also presented based on the experience of many years of work at theDepartment of Higher Mathematics and Economic and Mathematical Methods of Simon Kuznets Kharkiv National University of Economics are also presented. It is proved that this type of cognitive activity is by far one of the most effective methods of working with gifted students. On the one hand, the quality of the obtained knowledge improves, professional competencies are formed, and on the other, the personal potential of future specialists develops. Students take more initiative, become more independent, responsible and self-confident. The advantages and perspectiveness of pedagogical work on the organization of subject Olympiads and work with talented youth are substantiated.
