Єврейське підприємництво в економічному житті Вінниці наприкінці ХІХ – на початку ХХ століття

Abstract

У статті проаналізовано єврейське підприємництво в економічному житті Вінниці наприкінці XIX – початку XX ст., зокрема торгівельну та виробничу активність. Розглянуто центри праці та проживання єврейської громади. Досліджено діяльність окремих родин єврейського походження, які зробили внесок у розвиток Вінниці. Встановлено частку зайнятості євреїв в окремих галузях промисловості. Зроблено висновок, що діяльність єврейської спільноти неабияк вплинула на розвиток економіки та підприємництва попри обмеження та історичні потрясіння, які на той час визначали умови діяльності єврейських підприємцівThis article analyses Jewish entrepreneurship in the economic life of Vinnytsia in the late 19th and early 20th centuries, in particular commercial and manufacturing activities. It examines the centres of work and residence of the Jewish community. The article investigates the activities of individual families of Jewish origin who contributed to the development of Vinnytsia.The share of Jewish employment in specific industrial sectors has been determined. It is concluded that the activities of the Jewish community had a significant impact on the development of the economy and intrepreneurship, despite the restrictions and historical upheavals that defined the conditions under which Jewish entrepreneurs operated at that time
