Діагностика готовності майбутніх учителів біології до розвитку екологічної компетентності учнів

Abstract

У статті розглянуто результати діагностики готовності майбутніх учителів біології до розвитку екологічної компетентності школярів як цілісної динамічної якості, що передбачає функціонування аксіологічно-мотиваційного, знаннєво-інформаційного та технологічно-рефлексивного компонентів. Описано методи й результати проведення констатувального етапу дослідження діагностики готовності майбутніх учителів біології до розвитку екологічної компетентності школярів за критеріями: ціннісне усвідомлення та сформованість мотивації розвитку екологічної компетентності молодших підлітків на уроках біології; оволодіння професійними знаннями (фаховими, психолого-педагогічними, екологічними); здатність до практичного розвитку екологічної компетентності молодших підлітків.

In the article the diagnostic results of future biology teacher for the development of ecological competence of students as integrated dynamic quality that provides operation axiologicaly motivational, Knowledge, information and technology-reflective components. Ecological awareness of a person manifests itself in their ability to make decisions, to act in accordance with the hierarchy of social and personal values and needs by applying acquired knowledge and skills. The formation of a person’s ability to make decisions and inure to the benefit of environmental conservation is nowadays a major worldwide trend of developing ecological education, which calls for refocusing from equipping pupils with knowledge onto problem elaboration and finding practical solutions. Recently ecological competence has been viewed as a major criterion and integral indicator of the quality of ecological education worldwide. Describe the methods and results of diagnostic studies konstatuvalnoho stage diagnosis of future biology teacher for the development of ecological competence of students by criteria: value of awareness and motivation of formation of ecological competence of younger teenagers at lessons of biology; acquiring professional knowledge (professional, psychological, educational, environmental); ability to practical development of environmental expertise younger adolescents. The system of ecological education in Ukraine is still believed to be fragmentary, unsystematized, conceptually insufficient, and to a large extent declarative, hence, inefficient. Actually, the system keeps working due to enthusiasts who are often underresourced (lacking sufficient data support, tooling backup, procedural guidelines, methodological support etc.). As a consequence, there is a discrepancy between the recognition of environmental education and environmental awareness as the key components of environmental literacy of future teachers, on the one hand, and actual (insufficient) ecological competence of the latter as well as their readiness to develop such a competence in secondary school pupils, on the other hand.
